Employee Spotlight....Sandy Williams

 

Sandy Williams began her banking career in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1975. In 1982, she started working at Citizens Bank, transferring to the Trust Department in 1984. She was named President when Citizens Trust and Investment Corporation was formed under the Citizens Bankshares, Inc. Holding Company.

Sandy oversees business development and company growth. Her focus is on wealth management, financial and retirement planning for individuals and small businesses - including the administration of personal trusts and employee benefit plans such as profit sharing, 401-k, defined benefit and IRAs.

She is a Certified Retirement Services Professional and Certified Individual Retirement Account Services Professional and holds Securities Licenses Series 7, 24 and 63.

Sandy is an elected board member for San Juan Regional Medical Center, Past President of the Farmington Redcoats and San Juan Rotary Club and Leadership San Juan alumni.

She and her husband Ron have lived in the Farmington area since 1981. They share their home and acreage along the Animas River with a variety of animals. Sandy spends her spare time horseback riding and camping in the mountains.

They have three children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
