Selling and buying commodities

The County Fair was in full bloom last week. I hope everyone got to experience the great displays and wild carnival rides, turkey legs and fried Twinkies. Now what do displays of homemade jams and cakes, crochet items, 4-H club displays, horse shows, goat, sheep, beef, chicken, rabbit and pig barns have to do with the stock market, you ask? All the primping of animals, showing, and judging culminate with the livestock sale on Saturday. That is where the stock market tie comes in because we are talking about selling and buying commodities.
